From a young age, I was always making up stories in my head. At first, I would either roleplay with friends or play with school supplies to get my creativity out. I finally started putting these ideas to paper in Middle School. Both to express myself, and also show up a friend who started writing around the same time. As a writer, I add a touch of absurdity and wit to anything I make. Even if it’s a crime drama or a straight forward comedy sketch.
Currently, I’m working on degrees in Media Production and Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Along with a minor in Screenwriting. I’m a recent recipient of the Jim Barry Media Production Award from UNC’s Department of Communication Studies. On top of my creative writing experiences, I have tutored for UNC’s Intro to English Composition and Rhetoric course through and written articles for Slapstik Comedy Entertainment.
